Tencel Special Extra Plus High Pocket

Its heart

At the centre of EN1501 Tencel Special Extra Plus High Pocket are 800 independent High Pocket springs of 1.8 mm, with a frame, 18 cm high. Each spring works on its own, in its own pocket, so the mattress follows the body point by point. Around them runs a support of No 200 foam.

Two identical sides

From the springs outwards the layers repeat the same on both sides: Kevlar, No 300 foam 3 cm thick, G30 non-woven, 600 g/m² polyester wadding 3 cm thick and, on the surface, Tencel 5A fabric. That is why the mattress is double-sided. Turn it over once every six months, so the weight is spread evenly.

The feel

With a firmness of 4.5/10 it is medium and, like every pocket mattress, anatomical. It is also hypoallergenic and ventilated, 27/29 cm high.

The right base

With independent pocket springs, the EN1501 needs a bed frame with dense slats, so that every spring rests properly.
