Its heart

At the centre of 539 Comfort Analergico Cool Max Hyper Soft Afrolatex are Bonnell springs of 2.4 mm with a frame, tied into one continuous grid that spreads the body’s weight over the whole surface. Around it runs a support of No 300 Extra foam.

Two sides

From the springs outwards the layers are the same on both sides: Kevlar 700 g/m², 3 cm of Afrolatex, G50 non-woven, No 2500 roll foam 4 cm thick and 150 g/m² polyester wadding. On the surface, though, one side has Analergico 8A fabric and the other Cool Max fabric. It is double-sided, so you can sleep on either. Turn it over once every six months, so the weight is spread evenly.

The Cool Max side

Cool Max is a fabric that helps draw moisture away from the skin so it can evaporate quickly. Instead of holding sweat, it lets air pass freely, which helps the body cool itself naturally. Since you turn it over every six months, keep the Cool Max side on top in the warm months.

The border

All around, the Dark Grey Velute border has handles and vents, so the mattress can breathe.

The feel

With a firmness of 3.5/10 it is soft and, like every Bonnell mattress, orthopedic. It is also hypoallergenic and ventilated, 28/30 cm high. Its cover opens with a zipper and comes off.

The right base

With Bonnell springs, a single spring unit, the 539 does not need a bed frame with dense slats.
