Its heart

At the centre of 821 Filoxenia Silk Cool Max Hyper Soft Latex Pocket are independent pocket springs of 1.8 mm, with a frame. Each spring works on its own, in its own pocket, so the mattress follows the body point by point. Around them runs a support of No 300 foam.

Two sides

From the springs outwards the layers are the same on both sides: Kevlar 250, 2 cm of latex, G50 non-woven, No 2500 roll foam 4 cm thick and 150 g/m² polyester wadding. On the surface, though, one side has Silk 4A fabric and the other Cool Max fabric. It is double-sided, so you can sleep on either. Turn it over once every six months, so the weight is spread evenly.

The Cool Max side

Cool Max is a fabric that helps draw moisture away from the skin so it can evaporate quickly. Instead of holding sweat, it lets air pass freely, which helps the body cool itself naturally. Since you turn it over every six months, keep the Cool Max side on top in the warm months.

The border

All around, the Black Velute border has handles and vents, so the mattress can breathe.

The feel

With a firmness of 2/10 it is very soft and, like every pocket mattress, anatomical. It is also hypoallergenic and ventilated, 26/28 cm high. Its cover opens with a zipper and comes off.

The right base

With independent pocket springs, the 821 needs a bed frame with dense slats, so that every spring rests properly.
